Melanie has proven her entrepreneurial skills by successfully co-founding an international oil brokerage firm in 1984 until 2005 when it was purchased by a Wall Street firm. With a background in sales, marketing, international diplomacy and negotiations, and an avid interest in skiing, the formation of Helmet Huggers was a natural transition.

Co-Founder, VP of Business Operations and Development

Stephanie developed a business plan for Helmet Huggers as a part of her senior year capstone course at Miami University. She manages our business development and operations while currently working at Ernst and Young as an Associate in New York City. Stephanie is an expert skier, having started at age 3.

Co-Founder, VP of Public Relations and Branding

Natalie graduated from Penn State with a degree in Finance and International Studies. In addition to working at PBF Energy, she manages Helmet Hugger’s social media platforms and public relation endeavors. Natalie has also been skiing since she was 3 years old, but has become an advanced snowboarder as well.

Designer, Fashion Consultant

Ania Hammam is an FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) graduate with a degree in accessory and millinery design. Since 2003, she has had her own label Ash Derby. She has consulted for many well known designers as well as worked with non-profit organizations to design products to help further their causes, www.thepromisefoundation.net. Fashion and art is in Ania’s genes, coming from a family of designers, painters, photographers and jewelers. She has shown wonderful creative talent in traditional millinery fields, and has now applied that creativity to designing unique ski and snowboard helmet covers for women.
